BIO

During the summer of 2023, I joined the Women's Soccer coaching staff at CSU Sacramento helping guide the team to the Big Sky Conference Tournament in Flagstaff, Arizona.

In January 2023, I was invited to join the Guam Football Association (GFA) staff as an assistant coach for part of their January Women's National Team ID Camp (Senior, U20s and U17s). In July of 2023, I was asked to join the Men's National Team coaching staff for the GFA. In the same year, I was asked to join the Men's Coaching staff for Guam as the team prepared for the October 2023 - FIFA World Cup 2026™ Asian Qualifiers and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ v Singapore. I currently continue to serve as assistant coach to the team.

In 2022, I joined California Storm of the WPSL (Women's Premier Soccer League), helping lead the club to winning the 2022 WPSL National Championship. The championship was the first the club had won in 18 years, being the 4th championship in the club's history. In that same season club was named Western Region Franchise of the Year.

Entering the 2023 season I was named Head Coach and Technical Director of the club as California Storm grew into two teams competing in both the WPSL and USL W-League. The club advanced to the 2023 USL W-League Western Conference Final.

After Reno 1868 FC ceased operations at the conclusion of the 2020 season, due to the financial impacts of Covid-19, I signed with Oakland Roots SC for the 2021 season as the first assistant. In my season with Oakland Roots SC I helped guide the team to a memorable first season by reaching the Western Conference Semifinal.

In 2018, I joined Reno 1868 FC (San Jose Earthquakes' top affiliate) after spending the previous four seasons as an assistant / video analyst at Sacramento Republic FC. Over the course of 3 seasons, we successfully made the playoffs in each of those seasons. In 2020, along with reaching the playoffs Reno 1868 FC ended the regular season with the best record (Supporters Shield) in the United Soccer League .

During 2014 in the inaugural season of Sacramento Republic FC, I served as an assistant coach to Predrag Radosavljević (Preki) during the club’s championship campaign.

From 2015 to 2017 I then served as video analyst / assistant coach for the Sacramento Republic FC under head coach Paul Buckle.

I started my coaching career serving as technical director at various youth clubs in the greater Sacramento area while coaching high school soccer.

Along with professional and youth coaching experience, I have served as an assistant coach at the college level, at Cosumnes River College (NJCAA), California State University Stanislaus (NCAA D-II) and San Joaquin Delta College (NJCAA).

In 2004, I coached in the Fourth Division as an assistant coach of the Sacramento Knights FC, who played in the MPSL (now NPSL). The Sacramento Knights qualified for the Open Cup that year and was the last standing amateur team in the tournament.

I currently hold various coaching certificates and licenses including a USSF A-Senior and United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from California State University Sacramento and have completed course work in both Masters of Performance Psychology and Masters of Cross Cultural Education at National University.
